I applied online. I interviewed at Allied Universal (Erie, PA)
Interview
This was before the company merger, and the biggest joke I’ve ever seen. All you needed was a pulse to start, and I’m positive those drug tests never got sent out. One was on the toilet when it was my time to go, so who’s to say no one could have cheated? One guard said all they did was check to see if it was warm and dumped it out in front of him.
There is pretty much no interview, either you take the job or not.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Allied Universal (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
They give you a survey to fill out and have a man pretend to fall to see who is willing to get up and help. They also test your patience by making you wait over a half an hour while you watch their security guard training video on a loop.
