Arguably the worst experience from the get-go. The HR/recruiter reached out for a screener. She seemed super nice. However, as she was away on vacation, I was asked to have an informal screener for with the hiring manager. Never in the 30 minute screener did I get a chance to learn more about the organization or whether I was interested in applying. She assumed that I applied and I was interested, and spent 30 minutes going over behavioural question after behavioural question. My recommendation for the hiring manager is to not forget that talent acquisition is a two-way street. The person you are 'screening' is also very much screening/interviewing you. And, that experience was a major red flag for me.
