Interview
Round 1 - Video Interview: This initial stage involves a pre-recorded video interview where you will answer 8-10 pre-recorded questions displayed on your screen. The questions will encompass a mix of technical skills, general work knowledge, and behavioral aspects. You will have approximately 2 minutes to answer each question.
Round 2 - Online Assessment: The second stage utilizes the "AssessFirst" platform to assess your suitability for the role. This assessment typically focuses on personality traits and work style preferences.
Round 3 - Management Interview: This stage involves a one-hour interview with both the department director and a Human Resources representative. The discussion will center on your career trajectory, technical expertise, past project experiences, and your soft skills.
Note: While English is the primary language used within this role, it's important to be aware that the HR representative is not completely fluent. To ensure clear communication, please consider speaking at a slightly slower pace when addressing her.
Round 4 - Final Interview (Optional): Contingent on your performance in the previous stage, the final interview will involve a discussion with the HR Business Partner (HR-BP).
The communication from the HR regarding interview scheduling and updates was not as timely as it could have been. This resulted in the need for candidate to follow up on multiple occasions. There was a significant delay of over three weeks in communication following the management interview, exceeding the initial timeframe of seven days.
While the interview process offered a good overview of the role and company, the interview with the HR representative could have benefitted from a more structured approach. It is understandable that the new HR representative may be developing her interview skills. Consequently, some of the questions posed seemed less relevant to the specific requirements of the position.
