I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Agoda (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2021
Interview
The most ridiculous and outdated rigid interview process I hope to never experience again. They gave me an assessment after having 6 interviews including a video interview just to get in the door. The assessment wasn’t hard, but the test itself was tricky and annoying to interact with. None of the questions are really applicable to the actual job thus what’s the point? I didn’t get an offer of course, but I was turned off by the end I probably would have declined.

Question 1
Why did you leave X employer in 2011 (over 10 years ago)?
We appreciate your candid response. Your feedback and your overall interview experience will be essential for our optimization of hiring processes moving forward.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Agoda
Interview
Had a first screening with HR and then a second one with a Manager + had to complete the SHL test online. I didn´t make it to the third round. They informed me about it from a no-reply email with a standard template used for other candidates-no specific information on why they rejected me.
I felt they are not respecting the time of the candidates, they are not informing you about the interview duration or the position of the person you will be interviewing with. Contradictory information on the position depending on the person I was interviewing with. The profile they are looking for does not match their job description. Overall, negative experience, something didn´t feel right.

Question 1
Specific questions on how I conducted my previous job, almost no behavioural questions.
First there was an interview call from HR representative, was informed basic things about the company and job description. Second was a video call interview with the HR representative, longer and more detailed version of the 1st one. Last was an interview with one of their Manager, usual Q&A then we had a mock up call both in Japanese and English.
