Submitted CV and cover letter through the recruitment advertising website. Received invitation to do a series of online tests (personal, logical, maths, verbal, etc...). A few days later received email that I passed and would like to schedule interview. An interview slot was quickly booked to take place a week later via Skype call with the team in Bangkok. This is where it starts to get interesting, I received an email that they are not considering me as the vacancy is closed 2 hours before the INTERVIEW. So I emailed HR immediately to find out, and she said there are changes to the team but the hiring manager still wanted to meet me and explain to me the detail. The interview happened as planned and they asked me a lot of questions specific to the role. The questions were a little random but mainly scenarios you might see in your role. But the email I received about was not explained at all, so I questioned what is happening and only then realised that they have already offered somebody else the role. But because they are continuously expanding and have a few roles in the pipeline so they still wanted to see me. So basically, the job i applied and prepared for is not available any more. I am back to ground zero after all.
