The interviewer was an Agile Coach. I applied for the role of a Scrum Master. The interview started in a weird fashion. There was no opportunity to introduce myself or talk about past experiences. The interviewer started asking questions about technical background when it was clearly mentioned in the job posting that it was not required for the role. The interview progressed and the interviewer kept asking formula driven questions and was not giving weightage to the approach because there is no one way of doing things. And then he started asking questions for roles and responsibilities that were usually done by Agile Coaches and Product owner. Not sure why such an interview.
In addition to all this, there were a lot of distractions. There was a maid cleaning the room. I could hear mixer grinder or vacuum at the background. I understand that it is a lockdown situation but since it was not a regular day at work and it was an interview, the interviewer could have been more professional for the 45 mins.
