      Technology Analyst Interview

      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Canberra) in Apr 2013

      Interview

I went through a longer process as I had scored just below their cut-off of 70% average at uni. I met with the recruiters at a grad job fair and they remembered me from it when they considered my application. I was totally unprepared for the phone interview - they didn't explicitly say that it was an interview. It wasn't too bad, they just wanted to ascertain that I had citizenship and was studying an appropriate degree. I had 3 face to face interviews. One was based on assessing evidence of skills / behavioral factors they require all employees to have, where I had to provide examples of where I have demonstrated particular skills based on situations from work and uni. The next one was reviewing my education details & work experience, understanding your awareness of Accenture and the role I applied for and establishing my career goals. The questions were things like "tell us about a time you had to balance competing priorities". The final one was focused on my career history, and my interest / suitability in the role I applied for and Accenture as an organization. I didn't think this one went particularly well as I came over dizzy (the room was stifling!) but it must have because they contacted me the next business day. My overall experience was that they followed up after each round quite fast, but all but one of my interviews was rescheduled. I wish they had just stuck with original timings instead of changing them multiple times.

      Interview

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (New York, NY)

      Interview

A call with a recruiter then a final round around 2 weeks later. They are very quick like many consulting firms. A lot more behavioral and what would you do if a client did this type of questions.

      Question 1

One was a case study we needed to prep and focus on a piece of tech we would build with the tech stack and why.
