Assessment Centre Case Study: 45 minutes, with three groups of around 4-5 people each and one assessor assigned to each group. The mock case study involved multiple data tables and figures, and we had to answer roughly three open-ended questions. The main challenge was that the assessor did not provide much support when we tried to clarify parts of the case or test our thinking. We had to make assumptions without much opportunity to bounce questions off them. This made the process frustrating, because in a real case study, candidates should be able to ask thoughtful questions, build on the information provided, and potentially arrive at different conclusions based on their own curiosity, reasoning, and assumptions.
