      Role Within Banking Interview

      Oct 31, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Londres, Inglaterra
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMS (Londres, Inglaterra) in Aug 2017

      Interview

The interview process itself was fine however after the interview and the job offer when it came to signing the contract hiring manager didn't seem to know how the system worked with contract employees having to go away to find out the rated need to be reduced if you were being employed one way and then to be called again to be told the wage they had offered was too high and they would need to cut it by 1/3. Ultimately turned the job down as I was not happy with being devalued by 1/3 at the last second after the whole interview process etc. Subsequently then approached 2 more times by different members of the team saying they have a job I would be great for. Low and behold it was the same job at the same wage I was offered initially. I wonder how many people they are doing this too? Real bad way to manage hiring people. Would NOT recommend using.
