Interview
Applied online and received a phone interview the next day. I was called by HR after the weekend to come in for an in-person interview. I had a 1:1 interview with the department manager and got a tour of the lab afterwards. Received a call for the position a day later.

Interview
Mostly standard questions, only 2 out of 7-8 questions were technical questions. Interviewer was very nice. The pre-screen phone call was a random call, though, which was kind of weird, other companies sent an email to schedule.
The interview process has been straightforward and started with just emailing only because of the pandemic. They are handling it well considering the circumstances. I am assuming there will be a phone or video chat component after.
