      Logistics Manager Interview

      Sep 14, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AGCO (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2018

      Interview

Applied online received a response from a recruiter within 4 days. The recruiter gave me a phone interview document which I had to complete that would be sent over to the hiring manager for review. If the hiring manager liked my answers then I would be invited for a phone interview. The document took 1.5 hrs to complete!! They wanted full paragraphs and in-depth responses to question prompts and your previous work experience. This document appeared to be what they would have used to take notes during an actual phone interview. I have never encountered a company who completed a pre-interview assessment this way. I completed this document same day and returned it to the recruiter who then confirmed they passed it along to the hiring manager. 2months go by with no invitation for a phone interview. I thought this was extremely rude given the amount of work the pre-phone screen document took. Then randomly I get an email during evening hours asking for my availability for a phone interview?!! Its been two months! I told the recruiter I was no longer interested in the position. If the phone interview was such a nuisance I can’t imagine how an onsite would go. Hard pass.
