I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ABB (Bengaluru) in Jul 2012
Interview
Technical questions followed by HR interview, a group discussion and presentation presentation topic was like to sell about a toy company. GD had lots of people.. May be around 12-15. It didn't matter whether you talk first or the longest. If you talk sensibly they will notice you. After tech interview people are shortlisted and after that hr interview, group discussion and presentation are one single round.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ABB (Montreal, QC) in Mar 2022
Interview
Process began with introductions of the interviewers and proceeded with my introduction. They then explained the job and the state of ABB, half-bragging at times. This went on for 40 minutes where I asked them sometimes if there was anything they wanted to know about me. They just kept rambling on until the interview was done. Basically, I believe they had already made their decision at the beginning when I introduced myself. I am not annoyed by the fact that I did not get the internship, I am more annoyed that they wasted my time.
