Why not offer the child care subsidies to US workers, too?
I know this is such a personal decision but trying to get some perspective.... im 37 and have 2 kids, 3.5 and 1.5. i want another but i also dont want to wait too long given my age. others who are in their later 30s and considering another kid. how do you weigh the decision for more kids based on your age and the kids age gap? I wish i would wait til my younger kid was 3 or 4 but given my age i feel pressure to try sooner
On maternity leave now and I like being with my children. Has anyone given up their big salary to be a stay at home mom and come back to a high salary or do you have to work your way back up? Also was anyone able to negotiate part time or fully remote after returning from maternity leave. They are pushing 3 days in office.
My company is starting to require once a week return to office. I am recently pregnant. Has anyone been able to receive fully remote work from home accommodations due to being pregnant?? I’m concerned it’s an hour drive.
Mom in consulting/implementations. Any ideas on exit oops that are more mom friendly?
When did you first travel with your LO? Baby is 3months old and hubby and I are thinking of taking a summer vacay somewhere, however he wants to drive to a nearby beach town that’s 3hrs away and I’d prefer to take a short flight somewhere nicer because I’m not a fan of the beach town or being in a car with a screaming baby for 3hrs. Thoughts?
Because companies offer what they need to in order to be competitive in a specific market. It’s inherently not fair if you’re doing the same role, but it’s true with paid time off, leaves, benefits, salaries, etc. For what it’s worth, your salary will probably be significantly greater being US based.
It was more of a rhetorical question. But thank you for answering
