Chat what we thinking!?
Does anyone actually raise their hand when they’re having a slow couple weeks? Or do you keep your head down and enjoy the chill because it’ll inevitably pick up anyway?
Dear younger creatives: You don’t need to be funny or quirky on LinkedIn to get a job. I promise.
So do creative resource managers not realize that art directors do way more work than copywriters? Always confused why I’m resourced at the same percentage as my partner when I’m doing 80% of the work.
Why is it that so many us of hate our jobs in this industry? On paper, it pays pretty well, you get to make stuff and go on shoots etc. It’s not physically gruelling work and it’s not as dull as most office jobs. So what is it that makes us hate it so much? The hours? The creative frustration? The clients?

Hahaha no lol I’d love to work on Spotify tho
It’s cute! And for all those upset, it really isn’t that deep lol
“Graphic design is my passion.”
“Hey ChatGPT, make the logo pop.”
Needs more cowbell
You’re talking about it, aren’t ya?
Maybe I’m too young and don’t know enough about disco culture. Does a 20 yr anniversary have anything to do with disco?

It’s fun and people just like to hate
THIS. I personally kinda love it. Is it "good design" by the book? Maybe not. But it’s literally for their birthday. It’s a fun disco ball. It’s temporary. And honestly, I respect the swing because most brands would never dare to mess with their app icon like this. The goal wasn’t to win a design award. It was to cut through the noise. Mission accomplished, clearly.
It’s a temporary logo for 20 years Spotify
A hard launch for something

Who cares
That’s how I feel about a vast majority of the stuff we produce every day.
