Conversation Starter: Access to Diversity Programs Declined Slightly in 2023

Access to Diversity Programs edged slightly lower in 2023 according to Glassdoor Benefits Review data. The share of employees reporting that their company offered a Diversity Program declined by 0.4 percentage point to 43 percent between 2022 and 2023. It remains sharply higher relative to pre-pandemic rates across all industries.

The largest declines in access to Diversity Programs in 2023 were in Personal Consumer Services; Aerospace & Defense; Legal; Information Technology; and Finance. Industries where access increased included Government & Public Administration; Arts, Entertainment & Recreation; Restaurants & Food Service; and Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology.
