It's all fun and games until you become upper store management

BMR+ discount is awesome, 50% off. Other than that, I'm having a hard time thinking of pros.

Cons

District managers are unprofessional, stores are under-supported, high turn-over rate. Some stores will go months without a store manager and no real action is taken to fill open positions. Bonuses for all levels of employees got taken away. Half the time the employee discount is equal to or less than promotions. Upper management will take advantage of you, and the pay is hardly worth it.

Pay is awful. No work life balance. Home office is completely unorganized. No continuity from very high up to in store. Constantly changing and can't adjust.

I didn't really see any pros. Most DM'S are new and incompetent of doing their job. If you're looking for a job to pass time as just an associate ok. If you are looking for that first "SM" (this was not my first SM position I thought I wanted to grow to DM) job to put on your resume go for it.......then run!

Cons

Constant sugar coating of a poor product. You have to wear their tacky jewelry on the clock with the price tags hanging out so customers think your crazy.
