Pros

You get to work with some very good people in their fields. It's a very un-corporate environment. Flight ticket discounts. You can find some reduced fares although it depends on demand. Then there is standby scheme, but that is not very useful as you will only know last minute if you can board the plane. It's only viable if you are single.

Cons

It is a very aggressive and cutthroat environment, where your colleagues will throw you under the bus at any given chance for their own advancement. Also, because every thing that happens in the back office can affect things like on time performance, which in turn has an impact on share prices, everyone is very quick to deflect any blames. This creates some very negative office relationship dynamics. The brand can be a bit of an issue Senior management takes a lot of credit for successes but that credit never trickles down.

Excellent Colleagues. Crew are some of the best and most experienced. Good Benefits.

Cons

Inexperienced Higher Managers. Crew Managers. They're unable to keep an overview of their bases, so resort to bullying and intimidation. Managers are condescending, rude and somehow it's all in the interest to help you.
