Pros

The people - hands down the reason I am still here are the smart and caring people I work with The work - I enjoy what I do very much. I have had the chance to present to CEOs (as a consultant) and work primarily with Sr. Director / VP level. Not all projects are great but I feel that I can make a difference

Cons

Work hours can be long and depending on your office and focus, there can be more travel.

Pros

- Good Pay. - Allows avenues to grow and excel. - Very smart people work here though the quality is declining.

Cons

- 99% of the time you will be working in Pharma - Zero work-life balance. The job doesn't leave time for anything else. - Very low brand value. Nobody knows what ZS is. - Does very little strategy consulting. Its more of an analytics and data-processing firm than a consulting firm.

Pros

The branding that they do - all the consulting dreams. Easy progress and favoritism for freshers.

Cons

-Little or no onsite travel. Even if you're promised at the interviews. When you join here and ask for it... "you kidding? we dont do that kinda thing!" -Laterals are treated as freshers with experience. Paid as much as freshers. While they end up doing most of the work. -No real training for the freshers. Everything you learn, you learn on the job. -NEO for the laterals is generally delayed, completely fake, and tells you the competency model which is nothing but 44 reasons to not to give you a promotion/pay hike. -The system is not in place for anything - promotions / onsite travel / appreciations / team work : Even to resign you need to send an email - which is culture shock for anybody coming from more established orgs. -And they don't care why you quit. -The pay package may seem inviting, from an outsider point of view, it may seem like a 100% hike but be sure to read between the lines. You're not gonna get most of it as the bonuses are again false promises.
