There used to be a strong team with a lot of hard working dedicated people. Some employee benefits are good. There is a decent health insurance cover. And the company provides food - Breakfast lunch and snacks.

Cons

Today, the company in India is barely hanging on by a thread. Employees are not happy. There is a lot of control and interference from HQ and even senior management does not have much of a say in what goes on. While everyone is doing their best to hold on. The company does not have an employee first approach and everything is always done from a business point of view. The motivation and moral of the overall teams has dropped drastically and even expecting mothers are not given any considerations for things like work from home. Overall Xiaomi has fallen from its glory days to a place that has become a toxic work environment. Poor quality new hires and a lot of uncertainty & unhappiness.
