Pros

At WBG, every day you get an opportunity to work on cutting edge developmental projects, which is professionally enriching and personally fulfilling - and humbling at the same time! You work with some of the greatest experts and seasoned professionals around the world on projects in different countries and sectors which present new challenges. WBG encourages mobility which presents some amazing life experiences for the family - especially young children! In my nearly 20 years at WBG, I have worked in 3 offices in Asia and the HQ at Washington DC.

Cons

At times this large intergovernmental organization can be slow and bureaucratic - though the current management is highly focused on changing this.
