An overview of the culture at ground level

Pros

The commissions can be very rewarding and the company has some great Health and Fitness benefit schemes.

Cons

No work/life balance achievable if you wish to to earn those commissions. Verisure doesn't much care for its employees family/social lives. Most field employees swap stories of 10,12,16 hour work days (note the plural). Ruthless sacking of employees can be observed in all levels of field work, and directorate appear fully detached from the struggles of most field branches. Terrible attitude towards promotion and far too many managers with personal agendas sniping at the people beneath them (sometimes at the expense of their own team). Management should include training in employee welfare - instead it appears to institute a culture of elevated ego's and train people in writing termination letters.

Pros

If you have your own transportation, some savings for the first few months, don't care about the hours... then it's ok.. It is a good product. Teams are friendly....

Cons

Training was poor, commissions not explained.. including thresholds etc., travel expenses only paid for if it's a sale. Non-territorial.. fighting against colleagues and other branches for sales... rarely given any leads... lots of cold door to door selling... favouritism preludes everything there... poor branch management... no-one shares the same knowledge about the commission structures... goal posts always moving.....
