Pros
My peers are amazing. The people on my team are the only reason I’m still here. The direct managers are pretty great too. People in other departments have all been nice as well.
Cons
The leadership is not good. Our leadership has literally said “don’t play the victim” on a team call when we asked for in person or live instruction for enablement they are requiring us to do, it’s all videos and articles we’re supposed to do when we have time while still doing our job. We have at least 2x extra work and our responsibilities have become that of a whole nother role real. No adjustment in pay or title and no questions are ever answered. They told us we’d be getting certified and going through enablement for this certification. We learned this week the assessment we’re taking is determining if we keep our job. And we learned that there’s another phase to this that we were never told about. All of this happens in a mere three weeks. We asked many many times about job security since the company had laid people off. We were told the company was investing in our org. Just discouraging, frustrating, and disappointing to have leadership avoid questions, try to silence you when you ask about your future, and or just straight up lie to you. The diversity and inclusion here is also pretty terrible. A coworker of mine has had conversations with HR about pronouns in the workplace multiple times and nothing has changed, even things as simple as having the option to put your pronouns next to your name on Zoom and Teams. The sentiment they received from HR was that it’s difficult to do and as a cybersecurity company they have to be secure. This company has zero loyalty or true care for their employees.
