Pros

Maybe the pension You get a bonus every quarter just for clocking in, provided the chief on the hill doesn't try and rob it out of your pocket.

Cons

Managers DO not have a clue about how to run this comapany. Low morale due to bad management from the very top. Serious blame culture Few bullies around the place that seem to get away with it. Everything to do with involvement of personnel is geared towards those on day shift. they believe in cultural diversity, yet for 'Well being at work day' they had physio therapists and massage chairs in for those who work day shift, yet people in the off shifts who would benefit more from these types of perks got a smelly plastic water bottle.

Pros

Canteen, parking, pay, craic, health insurance

Cons

Regimental on working hours, bell rings for tea lunch and start time like children in school. The union committee destroy any positivity or positive activity taking place especially the shorter negative grumpy gossipy day shift reps. You develop a Stockholm type syndrome and are afraid of the peer shaming so you don't take part in anything sports and social. It's all the same oaps going shopping or having a night in a backward dive of a pub and then pump money Into Santa claus and presents and easters treats for other peoples brats Instead of proper social activities for the members. Yawning! The company does the same thing the same way each time everytime nothing gets properly fixed it's all plastered over the bang and another issue. Hr should be outsourced and so should finance AR AP etc. what a useless cost burden. Training is by the book with Valeos ways nothing new nothing Interesting.

Pros

Automatic 401K Contribution, Most policies are versions of Industry Standard

Cons

Valeo is addicted to the appearance of successful policies but not the substance or understanding behind them. Most management is done by metrics which almost no one will break, regardless of the impact on the company. Short term financial impact is everything. Plans for the future seem to be based on being 3rd or 4th comer into new areas by entering them after several years of media attention on the first movers, without any real expertise.
