Pros

Challenging, plenty of autonomy, great food, great coffee, an amazing building, fantastic leadership, good pay, good benefits. The company's outlook is sky high. We also have a great mission and it is really reflected in the culture.

Cons

It's a decent walk from Caltrain, but I've learned to appreciate it. Priorities can sometimes shift quickly.

Thanks so much for contributing to our Unity family. Transparency around big decisions is more than just lip service as we welcome feedback (and get it!) from everyone as we move forward! Reach out to HR and ask about a benefit that makes getting from Caltrain to the office easier.

Pros

I have been at unity for 19 months now and it was the absolute best decision I could have made. The people are amazing and the benefits continue to blow me away. The structure is quite flat so you get to work on a lot of interesting and impactful things. Its just a great collaborative environment.

Cons

The most challenging part of working at Unity would be the global nature of the business. It can often be a challenge working across the US, EMEA and APAC.

Fantastic-thanks for your review and your hard work to make Unity amazing! We started out with humble Danish start-up roots and have grown into a leading technology company based on prioritizing our people and our product. We'll continue to do so and recognize the challenges that come from a global workforce.

Pros

I've been at Unity for a month, and the pros of working at Unity is that everyone is friendly and approachable. Everyone I've been acquainted with has been delightful and pleasurable to know. I also get a sense that people are genuinely interested in my history and in my future success. The company does a great job at clarifying it's mission and connecting you to that mission. As passionate as I already was about joining Unity, my leaders find ways to connect me to the company on a personal level.

Cons

The company is growing fast (which isn't bad) but with that it brings challenges for which I need to rise to the occasion. This isn't inherently a "con" but it is something to be aware of. The growth here has required me to think outside the box, develop more formal processes, and pay close attention to ensure my goals align with the overall company vision.
