Pros

If you’re hired as a consultant, view it as an opportunity to get experience inside one of the giant UN agencies, but don’t expect it to lead to anything permanent

Cons

Very hierarchical. Power and agency concentrated among a small number of people on any given team. Others get pigeon-holed and await marching orders w/o growth opportunities.
