      Pros

      Ingersol Rand has Great educational benefits and great co-workers to work around. They foster a team working environment. They have decent 401k benefits and provide opportunities to move and grow.

      Cons

      It seems like management is not driving things by the right priorities or maybe is not setting up the organization to accomplish the right mix of priorities to make the company succesful.

      It is a wonderful place to work if you are willing to take initiative by yourself and make extra efforts to carve your own path.

      Cons

      There is a huge amount of disconnect in internal communications withing the company. It is easy to get lost in such a massive organization.

      Pros

      Fast paced business, worked with some really smart engineers, support from the local level was OK. Benefits and pay were around the industry average. Some get more than others.

      Cons

      Support from anything beyond the local level was tough to get. Some loacl technicians were willing to help you out, some wouldn't. Sometimes you can't find management.
