Pros

I'm a temporary @home agent. The only pro is that it's at home and part-time. If you are wanting that kind of position for seasonal work.

Cons

I've been in training for 9 days. You are in an online meeting class with 15-20 other new hires. You spend most of your day on your own because your trainer doesn't know much more then you. Then you spend the day listening to others talk over each other and complain they can't get anything to work or they don't know what we're doing. You basically spend about 2 weeks lost and listening to others expressing the same sentiments. Then your trainer is overwhelmed and just picks 4 or 5 out of the group to focus her attention on while basically ignoring the rest of the group. Then you get thrown on the phones and you're clueless.

Thanks for your review. We're glad you like the work from home setting. We're sorry if you feel the training process isn't that effective. We'll check on the program and see how else we can improve it. Thank you once again!

Pros

A/C in summer and heat in winter in the building, benefits for full-time employees only, a cafeteria with okay food selection at okay prices, high priced vending machines available

Cons

This call center company offers no benefits to part-time workers, pays wages below the federal poverty guidelines in the majority of their positions in Springfield Missouri, and hires supervisors with no people skills. Poor equipment: computers that crash & headsets that you can not hear with. Regarding the Banking line of business: No appeals process in place for the employee regarding Member Satisfaction Survey's. The employee is always wrong and told "I am sure there was something else your could have done/said."

Thank you for the review. We apologize that your experience with TeleTech hasn't matched our reputation as a great company to work at. We do try our best to offer as much as we can to the compensation and benefits of different types of employment. If you feel that the offer did not match your qualifications, I hope you were able to consider our other openings. We do realize that the system can be challenging at times, and we're working on it. Thank you once again for your feedback, it is very helpful for the company's overall improvement.

Pros

TeleTech is pretty flexible with their working locations and support remote reporting or work from home.

Cons

Employment contingent on quarterly business results and have frequent cycles of layoffs. They don't offer lateral assignments and typically layoff employees and rehire new employees later.

Thank you for your feedback. Through the years, TeleTech has made a name for itself by being one of the more flexible companies there is, as evidenced by the work from home positions. It seems like you might be talking about the seasonal jobs that we have. These are not really layoffs but end of contract employees who are working on a short and temporary basis.
