Stable schedule; Able to choose long haul or medium haul (a few years after joining); Safe company where it's unusual for someone to be fired.

Cons

Seniority based promotions (~20 years to get to purser); There is no merit mentality. Performance will get you nowhere better or worse. Only seniority matters; Rather conservative company.
