Pros

Diversity, decent benefits for management,

Cons

Upper management is so out of touch it's scary. Would not recommend it. But I suppose it just depends on who's at the helm. From equipment failures to facilities, day to day operations are affected when equipment isn't working. It lowers morale to see things in a constant state of repair or being forced to utilize broken equipment to get the job done. Just a run of the mill outfit ran by individuals that sit in a reverb room and expect results. Spend 40k a month on heating a warehouse in the middle of July but complain about profitability. This company spends so much on things that don't generate one ounce of profit but complain when situations happen that could be prevented if given the proper equipment. Its pig with makeup. ORD 2023 is no bueno.

Pros

Enjoyable job in a long term industry. You’ll walk 5-11 miles per day and lose weight easily if you want.

Cons

£12/hr shift Salary is too low for the responsibility and workload. Nobody receives a contract means it’s zero hour. You will at your own parking for months until your ID vetting pass arrives. Sore feet after 5-11 miles walking daily fast paced most of it. Under-staffed puts more pressure on everyone. Staff turnover is very high. A lot of broken equipment nobody seems to repair or take away. Lack of PPE means you’ll work in rain and get soaked regular. No ID means you’ll need accompanied all day but no staff to do this makes it harder to do your job. Not progressing as stuck on the same 2 types of aircraft from day one. Almost no perks. Nothing off flights, 20% discount off expensive airport food. Can’t use duty free for alcohol even when not working. Men’s toilets haven’t been cleaned since it was built by the looks of it

Pros

Good experience and nice uniform

Cons

Be prepared to be screamed at for oversized luggage, cancelled flights, anxiety management, charging excess fees etc. Even if it is company policy, it takes guts.
