Pros

Discount is great Incentives happen a few times a year and is helpful As an employee you get discounted classes

Cons

If you have a cooking class attached to the store the hours are crazy. Could be there as late as 11:00 pm on the weekends because the company is getting greedy by wanting to fit in as many classes on the weekend as possible

Pros

Great employee discount Customers genuinely want to purchase products Cooking classes are fun and interactive Empowered to do whatever it takes to ensure customer satisfaction.

Cons

The pay for anyone other than management is insulting. It never feels like there is enough coverage or hours in the day to complete the tasks that need to be completed. It feels like corporate is out of touch with what is happening at the store level, and that nothing is totally planned and the ought through before it is rolled out to stores. Sales associates are expected to have a totally open availability for almost minimum wage, and management isn't very flexible with scheduling.

Pros

Clientele, products and generous discount make this workplace attractive and potentially rewarding for anyone who loves to cook and entertain.

Cons

Store managers, assistants and floor leads are given no credit whatsoever for knowing how to run the business. When sales are good and goals are met little or no real recognition is given. If sales dip even for a single week expect harsh and demoralizing repercussions.
