Your employed, Chance to get a company vehicle.

Cons

Crap pay, micromanagers, work on multi million dollar projects + 100k equipment but atrocious pay. Very top heavy company, less then 5% of the staff do work and then the rest try and tell you how to do it.

Cons

Honestly employees are just exhausted. Stantec is so acquisition focused, people can’t keep up trying to integrate everyone. Work life balance has gone out the door, new and acquired employees are valued far more than the long time employees who have the critical working knowledge of the company and its history and they are made to feel like they’re replaceable. The only way to move ahead in the company is by navigating the internal political minefield and being a “yes” person. Some of the company’s very tenured and impactful employees are leaving without jobs lined up as they’re just tired of it all. It’s so disappointing to see Stantec go in the direction it has, it was a great company to work for, you felt like you mattered and that you made a difference every day.

They know it looks good to get involved in communities they work in so there was an annual food drive we looked forward to
