Once the oil industry falls, which it will sooner or later, you will find yourself without substantial expertise in one specific field which significantly diminishes your employability in the long run.

Depends on which team you belong. There are toxic ones where attrition is quite high. Sooner or later you will find that you're just dragging yourself to work. There are teams with uber competitive members that will work harder to make your life miserable.
