Pros

Great salary, Stock option, not much else.

Cons

Everything else, really! Poor work/life balance, extremely corporate, petty management, farcical bonus scheme, you name it, it happens at Servicenow.

Pros

Pay is just OK. The medical benefits are pretty good. They will probably give you some stock options when you start. Office location, a typical two story concrete and glass structure, is alright although it's in a high traffic area (basically at highway 5 and highway 56). The company is doing well financially due mostly to the ineptitude of their competition, although the competition is slowly getting better. They get their employees Macintosh computers to work on which are nice.

Cons

The management is less than kind to their employees (the beatings will continue until morale improves sort of thing). Regular firings of employees without warning. There are no opportunities for advancement unless you are involved in the sales cycle (if you're a sales guy, it might be a good gig). Although the company is currently growing quickly, they do not promote from within. No recognition for a job well done. No career training is offered to employees except an initial indoctrination. Very much like a high school work environment both in terms of office set up and mentality. Most areas are chronically understaffed so expect to be putting in long hours but don't expect your manager to notice. Some managers require their salaried people to be in by exactly a certain time and not to leave until a certain time. For a high tech company, most of which offer quite nice perks, you would expect better perks in the office and an overall nicer office environment. The overall benefits could be better. No 401K match, or bonuses (except for people in the sales cycle). Despite recently moving to a new building, the employees are somewhat packed into the current office so you'd better like your neighbor a lot, very unlike Salesforce.com and similar tech companies who gives their employees enough space to not bump into each other at their own desks.

Discrimination Overshadows My Time at ServiceNow

Pros

Very difficult to provide pros considering what I've experienced.

Cons

I joined ServiceNow with high hopes for a positive work environment and opportunities for growth. Unfortunately, my recent experience with discrimination has overshadowed my time at the company. While ServiceNow promotes diversity, inclusion, and bringing your authentic self to work on the surface, I've personally encountered instances of targeting and wrongful claims that have deeply affected me. Despite raising concerns with HR early on, there has been little tangible action taken to address these issues effectively nor do I feel anything will be done. Unfortunately, the only option would be to resign and file a lawsuit in order to receive the proper attention and concern the matter deserves.
