Pros
Great technicians and field support. Company does offer bonus opportunities and there are multiple jobs in which lateral transfers can be made without damaging career potential. Good safety program - now.
Cons
Long thankless hours to include weekends and holiday on-call duties. Product has become substandard to competitors, as has ability to provide quality customer service due to well overstretched workforce. Technicians are switching to Otis, Kone and TK. Schindler makes no efforts to invest in human capital (ie., younger techs) and continues to tolerate reported HR violations - specifically the Washington and Baltimore areas. Safety program brought about many good changes but was implemented through a disciplinary system that provided little room for feedback or buy-in.
