From great to unimaginably bad
Pros
Job stability. As long as you play the corporate game where you show up to the countless Webex meetings and don't challenge anyone, you're golden. DQ is thriving there.
Cons
Management turned one of the greatest company to work for in Montreal into an absolute corporate nightmare where passion and dreams go to die. The whole team who built a world-class platform is now gone despite how much they liked working together. Literally everyone left with roughly 2x their Samsung salary and management did nothing about it. Great engineers have had promotions denied simply for properly criticizing some terrible process in a public slack channel. There is so much middle management that they don't know what to do of their time so they end up counting your hours. Technical debt is not something you can work on anymore. The agile transition has been a nightmare and the process is highly inflexible. I could go on and on for much longer but enough for today. Avoid at all cost.
