Pros

If you chilling out with flexible work hours, and you dont care about personal growth, then this is the job for you.

Cons

Lot of sycophancy needed to get work done. Company doesn't care about the employees. Projects keep getting pushed out for random reasons. Values/culture is just used for wall hangings and posters I was recruited from campus as a business analyst. When I joined the company, i was put into a software dev role. It took me 5 months just to convince HR and management to change my profile. Even after that, my team wasn't changed and i was sitting with no work(quality-less work) for a long time. Earlier i believed that if i convey my problems properly, in due course my concerns will be addressed. but it never happened and i had to switch. Although i was given the profile of BA on campus, my offer letter just said 'Associate' and when i tried contacting the HR prior to joining, I got no response.

Pros

Decent Salary and good 401k. Benefits are good. Some areas pay attention to work life balance. Building is fairly new. Fast paced environment in some ways (customer interaction, sales, lots of travel if you want it). Do somethings to push the technological envelope.

Cons

Flexible seating arrangement, even for those who come to the office EVERY day means you don't always get to sit by those in your group, and of course, you can't leave anything at your desk overnight. Seems like Management has reduced spending on cleaning and the restrooms can get rather nasty at times. Projects are not well run, and alot of work is prioritized by what is most on fire. Some groups, especially in Development, are allowed to just ignore good development principles (in fairness many of them have been understaffed, but now that they are staffing up, I don't see a change in behavior). Lots of acquired products around which there is sparse tribal knowledge.

Pros

Smart people, diverse team, global company, nice work environment, interesting industry, industry leadership.

Cons

Pay may be market but is not competitive. Company growth may be limited as airlines and others in the travel industry seek ways to work around the gds.
