      great place to work, everyone is extremely friendly, great pay and benefits

      not many, this is a great company. The only thing is I wanted to rise quicker, but thats hard everywhere

      Pros

      1. Great company, great culture, great products. 2. Realistic expectations 3. Fantastic people 4. Company does not answer to Wall Street and does not lay people off for no reason.

      Cons

      1. It is difficult to move upwards in this company because employees stay in their jobs for a long time. 2. Because the benefits are so good, the pay is lower than competition. 3. There is nepotism and favoritism in the organization.

      Pros

      The benefits are wonderful including the health care package, reimbursement for day care, supported preventative health care services and programs, etc. SAS pays fairly based on the locale. The profit sharing and retirement funding seems fair for a private company.

      Cons

      No real career paths defined or realistic opportunities for those of us that are career focused instead of job focused. Lower level / new management and leadership training does not exist. If you want to grow your existing technical skills, that exists. However if you want training to promote yourself into a leadership role, it's all on you to driver yourself and hope that it meshes with the "SAS-way".
