Pros

Cruises, if you can get confirmed, but you'll need to have tenure. On site cafeteria, gym, and day care that employees contribute to

Cons

No room for advancement. Salaries are very poor, to say the least. Self insured company, so benefits are tailored for the benefit of the company's pockets and NOT the employee. Company does not care about the employees, they say they do, but they don't. They have these phony awards that are "won" by the same depts over and over again. Yawn....

Pros

The pay is approximately the same as in the other companies in the same business.

Cons

A big downside of the company, that leads to competent employees leaving the company, is favoritism in the management. The most important things to do the career within RCI are a correct nationality and knowledge of right people and readiness to let the nose getting brown. With a wrong passport and no personal network it is impossible to climb up the ladders of career. It does not matter how well you do your job or what you know, if you do not know right people.

Pros

for miami standards, i thought the pay was good. then again, the workforce is very dissatisfied, so without competitive salaries, the employees would be as incompetent as the management.

Cons

13% turnover in the miami headquarters during the recession. keep in mind miami has 12% unemployment (3% above the national average). I think the numbers speak for themselves. offices are drab, management is quite incompetent. to rise through the ranks, you need to brown nose. and there are rat traps under the desks. yum.
