Pros

Colleagues who you don't directly work with are often nice and understanding of your plight.

Cons

- 'Call-out' culture is pervasive. Colleagues will actively seek to find any excuse to target you. If you make a mistake, it'll be shouted and gossiped about in the middle of the office before you even know you've made it. - Extremely high-pressure and under-resourcing. Each person is doing the job of about 2-3 people - Poor management. Account leads are distant, relying on gossip and rumours to provide feedback (rather than talking to their employees honestly and directly). - Mental and physical health and disabilities are trodden all over and conveniently ignored. Reasonable adjustments are seen as a last resort, after you've already taken mounds of abuse and been the subject of office gossip for weeks. - Homophobic and Transphobic sentimentality allowed to run riot amongst staff. LGBT+ employees left to fend for themselves when dealing with challenging situations, with no support from management. - Salary is extremely low for the amount of responsibility and crap you've got to put up with - No work/life balance. If you try to leave at your contracted leaving time each day, people will gossip about you for leaving early and you'll be frowned upon - but equally if you stay late nobody appreciates it. - Preaches a good culture to recruit you, but forgets that as soon as they've got you on salary.

There are some very serious, unpleasant and far-reaching allegations in your review. I'm especially appalled at your allegation around disabilities, homophobia and transphobia. As a business, we absolutely condemn any such actions, and I want to get to the bottom of them immediately to understand whether they might be true. If you’re willing to get in touch, we can also discuss the other issues you've raised. Can you please contact me at kirsty.adams@resourcesolutions.com as soon as possible so I can understand the situation, setting and context. Worst Place to ever work at. Stay away

Pros

I wish I had some

Cons

This is not the place to advance your career. Values are not followed by senior leadership. All senior leadership run in packs like they are still in high school. When you ask for support, support is not given. They will say you are being promoted, but this company isn't sensible enough to have a tranfer offer letter in place stating what your new role is. It's just a title they put on you and they want you up and running ASAP. From working there, I have witnessed a lot of things and im not proud of and was told not to say anything from the senior leadership team. Im going to leave it at that.

Thank you for your review. You raise some worrying issues, and make some serious allegations that I would need more detail about to understand and look into properly. If you'd be willing to email me in confidence at kirsty.adams@resourcesolutions.com I can get a better picture of some of the serious points you raise. In addition however, while we encourage our people to be open and honest with their feedback, it's disappointing that you felt the need to name some of our valued clients in a negative review about us. We're contractually prohibited from naming clients, and it's both unfair to them and unprofessional to include their name alongside ours. If you have an issue to discuss with us we are happy to explore it and find a mutually acceptable resolution; but we ask that you keep such issues civil and professional. Pros

Good money, the top bosses at resource solutions are very nice (the problems are lower down), quite prestigious for your CV

Cons

Terrible work culture where I was placed (a bank), there was no praise but every minor error however small was picked up on and made a very big deal of. There was an expectation to work way way beyond your pay (sometimes 7am-9pm) and if you left on time you would be called in for not being a “team player”. Management was very unprofessional in the way they spoke about employees behind their back. Since I left I’m aware that over three people have joined and left my team in the last few months so clearly I’m not alone. I am a reasonable and hard working person who has rarely taken issue with a work place but where I worked via resource solutions made me dread coming in most days.

Hi, and thanks for your review. While it's good to hear that you feel the senior management are nice, there are clearly some issues for your onsite team that we need to look into. There are a lot of issues in your review that are a concern to me, but too many to go into detail in a response here. I'd like to understand these issues in more detail so I can look into how to address them directly. Would you be willing to call or email me (kirsty.adams@resourcesolutions.com) to talk confidentially about each of these issues? Many thanks, Kirsty Adams (Global HR Director, Resource Solutions)
