Pros

- Interesting collaboration with Employers and partnerships with industry and household names. - Access to online learning tools and courses.

Cons

- Poor management, from individuals who are either new to a managerial role, or aren't well versed in people management and leadership, they did everything in trail and error without effective strategies in place. - I used to dread my weekly 1-2-1s (more like confrontations) with my line manager. I raised it to Senior Management, nothing was done and they were made redundant not soon after anyway. Says a lot! - People are massively underpaid and there's salary disparity. £5k - £10k pay difference between myself and colleagues' who were doing the same job & title with the exact same targets! No bonus was paid, even after achieving and exceeding targets at times. Told this was due to Senior Managements approval, however they always played the blame game. Since leaving I have had also a 50% pay increase!

Pros

- Agent relationship managers were lovely to work with - created great relationships. -Good equipment to work with (laptops, work phone etc)

Cons

One of the worst places I have ever worked - as someone who is experienced in their field and masters educated I was belittled in my abilities very aggressively micromanaged - the unkind nature of my manager made my physically poorly and mentally affected my wellbeing. - If a report was not meticulously completed the way my manager had wanted I was scrutinized and made to feel thick and unworthy of the role. - No career progression at all - despite promised this at interview stage - during my interview I was told that my manager will be difficult to work with as she openly told me (I should have known better) - Underpaid for the role I was doing especially compared to the industry I was in - Hierarchical company where you cannot voice your opinion. - I actually enjoyed the role itself and felt I was very good at it - when I told colleagues I was leaving I was met with upset and shock -- if it was not for the illtreatment of my manager I would never have left. - No exit interview with management - My manager did not even call me on my last day to say goodbye - horrific. - No work life balance - if my teams ever went yellow or red I was questioned as to what I was doing. Treated like a child - no autonomy. -I could not do longer than 6 months - I have now found a role where I am reaching my full potential, trusted and getting paid alot more! My physical pains have gone and my mental health has improved so much.

Pros

Getting the opportunity to learn to code

Cons

Ok, I've been with QA for over a year now on what they call "The Bench" And I'm currently at risk of redundancy, here's what I've experienced in the past year. -Radio Silence for long periods of time, went without guidance or expectations for months and many of my colleagues were unfairly ejected from the business for not doing what we were never told to do. -Lies. We were told our trainer took unwell suddenly during the last week of training, turns out every training group had the exact same thing happen to them which makes me believe he was told to take it off or do something else. -More Lies. The CV's they generated for us weren't shown to us for months and when they were, they were filled with things we hadn't been trained on and spelling errors. -Lack of Communication. I was told early on we could request a Laptop, which is great, however it is now October and I've been requesting a laptop for well over 7 Months with zero response. -No support after the initial 12 weeks. -Expected to do 26 Hours a week on their internal training site with zero options for practical projects whilst on the bench. We've been contesting this amount of hours since August and nothing has been changed. You essentially spend all day watching video lectures and doing quizzes, and if you want to pause it for a moment to follow along with an example, the time you're paused and working doesn't go towards your 26 hours. -Absolutely zero opportunities unless you live in London. Honestly so disappointed in the last year, especially considering we're going through redundancy right now and we've been told there'll be no redundancy pay, no compromising on the *3 Month Notice*, no compromising on the restriction of working with competitors (Which given the scope of what QA cover could be construed as nearly anything IT related), and no respect.
