Pros

- Fantastic university-level training (if you can hack it!) - Great accommodation package if you plan to live on site - Friendly and honest trainers - Very low entry requirements allow most people the chance to work!

Cons

- So bad its almost offensive support and communication once you finish your training - Some training materials may be outdated - Dropped at the first chance if you aren't given a client - Very low entry requirements mean you may be out your depth.

Pros

- Good training opportunities if you can get the time to engage. - Excellent in office facilities and classrooms. - Colleague support and camaraderie. - Good brand. - Rewarding job role as Skills Coach.

Cons

- Since the arrival of CEO Paul Geddes and his senior leadership team there has been a marked departure from a culture focused on people centricity towards profit at any cost and clear evidence of asset stripping. Evident pre Covid-19. - A regular and impending threat of redundancy. - A lack of time provided for PD - particularly with view to QA being a leading training provider. - Unrealistic expectations with regards to workload - 68 learner caseload as standard. - Removal of autonomy in the DLC role. Lots of micromanagement compared to SC role and much less person to person contact and relationship management.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us and I am sorry that you have left the business having had a negative experience. It is true that we have made changes to the way our Apprenticeships team operates. We made a multi-million pound investment in this function last year. We now have new tech systems to support more effective learning, new processes to improve the learner experience and new ways of working together too. These new ways of working have meant changing what we’ve become used to, which understandably can be challenging. Change takes time. But we are confident that it was necessary and in the best interest of our learners and client. We are also conscious that the current situation has made it even more challenging to adapt to these existing changes. Like every other business around the world, the current pandemic has forced us to review the size and scale of our business. This has of course impacted staff and we have implemented a number of initiatives to support employees during this time. For example the introduction of our employee partner forum which is intended to give everyone a voice and ensure there is board-level focus on direct staff-issues. We also introduced a number of wellbeing initiatives to make sure staff and line managers were supported during this time. I am sorry that you have not felt that that these have been effective for you on this occasion. We must reflect on this and learn from your feedback.
