Pros

Providence has great benefits. Tghere is lot of personal satisfaction from being part of an organiozation that provides much needed haelth care to people from all walks of life. One is able to make life long friendships with a number of people.

Cons

There is lack of appreciation or recognition for the individual. There is a lot of differences in the way staff are treated vs the perks available to management.

Pros

Co workers are conscientious and hard working, good pay, rewarding to be a nurse and help people, lots of days off due to working 12 hour shifts.

Cons

Very stressful, staffing levels are done by numbers rather than acuity. Pts are very sick and often there is no one to help you. Always worried about making a mistake and hurting someone or being sued.

Pros

If you can believe the 'Mission' of the Sisters of Providence, it helps get you through and bring job satisfaction.

Cons

But the reality is... all of that is just crap. They only care about money and numbers, period. Do not care for their staff one bit. It is now glaringly evident to anyone NOT in Management. Management is like a Cult or evil Sect. Unbelievable.
