Pros

Open lines of communication, straight talk from corporate and leadership, no hidden agendas and they work hard to make it a preferred employer. Hours are fair and flexible and the overall culture is friendly and common sense driven. Great place to work!

Cons

Some of the area the stores are in are spread out, making it hard to advance without moving in some cases.

Pros

They were kind enough to offer me a job, when I needed it. Worked my way up ranks over the years, then without warning they decided to give my job to someone else.

Cons

Horrible working conditions. Upper management is not organized and or focused on the real issues. They also expect you to work open to close, seven days a week to make ridiculous sales goals. Worse part is that they dont even say thanks, when you do work crazy hours and sacrifice family and personal health.

Management is a joke.

Pros

The technicians in the shop were usually really fun to be around, and occasionally you get to talk to a customer and feel like you are helping someone out.

Cons

The service manager was one of the least professional or diplomatic managers I have ever met in my life. He belittled all the technicians and his service advisers. He would complain about how stupid some of the people he worked with were, however he is the one who hired them. The pay was ridiculously low compared to other shops, and the service advisers (being told by the service manager) would often reduce the hours "flagged" by a tech because he wanted to "help" the customer out. So rather than the service advisers or the store taking a loss it just came out of the techs pocket. Often times equipment in the shop was broken and we were told by the service manager to figure out a way to do without the equipment (brake lathes, coolant flushing machines, etc.). In other words the customer was getting screwed.
