Pros

The company has many great people who are truly enjoyable to work with, and the work-life balance is good.

Cons

1) Low salary and no willingness to discuss raises. Management is not open to conversations about salary increases, even when workload and responsibilities grow. 2) Very limited career growth opportunities. This is especially true in Risk and Compliance — the company prefers hiring new people from outside rather than helping existing employees progress in their careers. 3) Constant implementation of new features while old issues remain unresolved. Many longstanding problems are ignored, creating ongoing inefficiencies. 4) New tasks are regularly added, but salaries remain unchanged.

Pros

Complex Payment Solution. Could be a con as well, as you will spend lot of time in figuring out complex flows which do not have any impact and growth in overall professionalism and product portfolio outside company purview. You will get to learn lot of Politics and how to put blame on other.

Cons

- Toxic and hectic culture. Hire/Fire culture. - Leadership is visionless and always changing priorities. No structure! - Old outdated systems - No respect for timezones, would be required to take calls at odd times too. - Chaotic Leadership, all pulling in different directions without any clarity. - Poor Leadership. Too much politics and favouritism. Blame culture.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your experience has felt unstable and frustrating, and we take concerns around culture, leadership clarity, and ways of working very seriously. As a global organization operating in a complex and highly regulated space, we do go through periods of change as we evolve our strategy and technology. That said, these changes are intended to strengthen long-term stability, improve decision-making, and create better outcomes for both our customers and our people. We recognize that when communication or execution falls short, it can negatively impact teams. Respect for employees’ time, clear ownership, and a constructive feedback culture are areas we continue to invest in and continuously improve. We encourage you to reach out directly to your manager or your People Partner to discuss any concerns you have further. Our goal is to ensure every team member feels supported and empowered to take action.

Toxic Team Culture and Poor Management Experience

Pros

Very good hybrid work environment

Cons

I worked at Payoneer for more than 4 years and while the company has some positive aspects, my experience was overshadowed by a toxic team environment driven by poor leadership. My direct manager created a hostile atmosphere characterized by passive-aggressive communication, lack of support, and frequent micromanagement. Instead of fostering growth and collaboration, the team culture thrived on fear, blame, and negativity. Feedback was rarely constructive and often felt personal, which deeply impacted morale and motivation. It’s disappointing because the company itself has potential, but unless serious attention is given to team dynamics and management style—especially in certain departments—it’s difficult to truly thrive here.

No one should feel unsupported or disrespected at work, and we take this very seriously. We are committed to fostering a workplace where feedback is heard and all employees can thrive in a respectful, growth-oriented environment.
