Pros

Good Salary Good Peer Group (though dwindling each day)

Cons

As one of the former employees in one of the review about India team said - Company is going through midlife crisis, well I agree to that. There is always a good time to join a company may be right now it is not. Old people in the system are leaving each month. On the JD and in interviews they kept talking about the sales role of a BDM being that of 'Enterprise Sales Manager' and it could not be further from the truth. Older people in the sales team could still say they handled complex enterprise clients but right now the situation is so bad. There are not enough leads to feed in the system for all of us. We are being fed old leads that have been either discarded by other BDMs previously or have already asked to not followed up. People are scrambling to make the best out of the current situation and yet are set up to fail. There is no support from higher ups except for few words here and there every once in a while to keep the morale up of the team. I feel flustered each day with the situation I have been put in due to so many false promises during the interview. My only recommendation to any of the prospective joiner in India sales team would be to be extremely cautious. If you want to be well paid to be a cold caller, this is the right place. Products are half baked for us compared to our peers globally, it has to do with regulations so no blame there but with limited product capability you feel even less capable to move forward. My 2 cents - Don't fall in trap of a good salary until that is an urgent priority. Atleast don't join in 2022. Let things settle and stablise here first. If any of you are going to read it in 2023 or 2024, please reach out to existing employees in same role as that for which you are going to be interviewed, get sense of how things are and then decide.
