Pros

Currently? I cannot think of a single Pro. The former leadership really took care of their employees. Not with money but with investing in the employee herself. The CEO, COO, CFO & VP OF SALES would always address you by name, with a company that has 600+ employees that is impressive. They almost ran PIRCH out business. In hindsite I wish they would have. Then I wouldn't have had to deal with the new "leadership".

Cons

Current "leadership" literally could not care any less for their employees. Fired or pushed out so many hardworking folks, to make room for more of their VP cronies. Two of the new "leadership" that didn't come from Oakley came with the experience of putting an appliance store or 2 out of business, namely HH Greg and Circuit City. At least they did that right cuz they did little more than that.

The people in this organization still are the heart and soul of PIRCH. To your point the reason the former leadership team isn’t here was due to mismanagement of the company for several years. We’ve had to re-explore and re-evaluate the footprint of this company. These are tough times at PIRCH and we’ve had to make some tough decisions. We believe these decisions, together with our passionate employees at PIRCH, will help us re-focus our success in our core markets. We appreciate your continued focus and leadership on the floor through this transition.

Pros

The physical showroom was beautiful

Cons

After the restructuring/cleaning of house of the company, when they were acquired by L. Catterton in August, PIRCH went on a compete hiring rampage, continuing to make promises to prospective hires that they had no intention of keeping. The executive team had ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE in the A+D community, and it showed. Every project and order had problems, and they were useless in the backend. It was a complete mess. Worked like a dog for an impossibly structured draw commission - only to be one of the hundreds of people recently laid off because L. Catterton had enough of their mismanagement. What a joke.

We are re-assessing our footprint and taking a very strategic and thoughtful approach in putting PIRCH in a successful position. Part of that strategy is focusing and building on our success in the CA markets. As such we’ve made some difficult decisions and we understand your frustration. We appreciate your service, dedication and time with the company and wish you the best.

Generous PTO. Lots of opportunity to learn new systems and processes. Overall easy going feel during the work day.

Cons

Lots of restructuring within the company. Promise of growth that never comes. Increasing workload without better compensation.
