      Pros

      It helps overcome famine, natural disasters, illnesses, etc. Oxfam and all its workers work hard to help all these people suffering in many different countries around the world, not only in Africa as many believe but also in Latin America, Russia, etc.

      Cons

      Working alongside many people from different sectors can be challenging but I have learnt from this brilliant experience so much knowledge and experiences that I can use in other aspects of life. I am very proud of being able to say I am part of it!

      Pros

      friendship between the team in the shop, a day goes very quickly,each day many treasures come in and it is exciting getting the goods sorted and priced, out on the shop floor and sold. after all one persons rubbish is another persons treasure.

      Cons

      rude customers, no benefits,no staff discount,very rare protional prospects.

      Pros

      I'ts great volunteering with Oxfam, you feel like you belong there, although a lot of work needs to be done, you feel like it's all worth while, you feel like you are helping vulnerable people where ever there is a crisis.

      Cons

      There is'nt much negative aspects with volunteering with Oxfam, although reaching monthly targets was a challenge but it's all to do with putting your soul and energy into the charity because you know that the more we push ourselves the better the outcome is, more people get the help they need elsewhere
