Pros

-I learned to work at a fast pace -Very good management -Good pay for a 17 year old (I started at $8 an hour and ended at $8.50 when I quit after 7 months) -Employee discount :-) -LOVED MY BAKER! He was very sweet and funny.

Cons

-Very cramped when busy! Costumers were disrespectful a lot as well, which didn't make it easier. -One small mistake can turn into a huge one -Lots of work ASIDE from customer service -Employment seemed to be a little racist. I'm white, but I noticed my manager seemed to decline applications from Asians, African Americans, and Hispanics. I wish there was more diversity in my work environment. -You'd only get a break if you work at least 6 hours--which was rare for a greeter. Shifts are usually 3-5 hours and oddly didn't seem to go by fast. -Bakery closed at 6, but should be 7. Lots of people knock on the door after closing! Not a good timing, especially with rush hour and construction.

Pros

Half off cakes twice a month.

Cons

So whatever you do stay away from this place, they seem nice and sweet at first but things go for a turn when you start working there for 1-2 months. Angry emails were the only things management were sending, once or twice was a positive email ever sent about the workers. We bust our tails off, staying back late to do other people's task, just to be constantly criticized about things we can't change. It may seem all fun and nice but chaos is what goes on behind closed doors. If you ever want more work hours good luck, I worked 3 hours everyday and during my spring break I asked for more hours and was told "we already have people to work in the morning". My paychecks showed that I worked very little hours, there is just no place to ever advance up and get a raise. If you like spending holidays with your family, think again! They will make everyone come in to work long hours during the holidays. Frosters stand up for hours on end doing the same repetitive motion. This constant wear and tear on your body causes medical problems like carpal tunnel syndrome. The job is not easy and not worth the pay; I would wake up with numb hands and have to take medicine to ease the pain. Let's not forget that everyone is underpaid, well at least the frosters because I knew a few GSRS who got paid more for just standing around all day. This place is horrible and their cakes are overrated. P.S. they lie to customers and say their cakes are made fresh daily, when they're clearly not.

Pros

Most of my coworkers were great people and the various jobs are not difficult. It's easy to pick up and the hours aren't terrible. Half off cake is pretty good and the cake is decent. Perfect for high school kids and schedule.

Cons

One of the worst places I have ever worked. First off, corporate training was a joke and there is minimal to no career advancement. They want to have a warm, nostalgic, inviting atmosphere, but behind the scenes that is not the case. Most of the employees were disgruntled and hours can be long with tedious work. Must depend on management, because it could potentially be a decent job for a little while if the owners and manager are competent. Pay was above minimum wage, but some positions were underpaid for the expectations.
