Pros

Wealth of knowledge in the few senior people that are still there, but that is decreasing fast as senior people retire.

Cons

Management for the most part is completely disengaged from the day to day jobs that the employees are trying to do. Complete befuddlement of the requirements and needs of the DoD customer. Mid to senior employees are not taken care of financially even though those employees are doing all the work. Training of employees (other than the new college grads that are going to leave anyway) is something that does not even enter into the equation. What few trainings there are must be done off the clock even if it has a direct relationship to job. Misandry: Discrimination against men. Women of lesser skills and experience are given preferential treatment in all job categories.

Pros

Eh, compared to industry, there aren't really any pros that stand out at NG. They're wonderfully mediocre in employee support.

Cons

No actual benefits, just the illusion of such by offering plans in a marketplace they curate. Technical development is a dirty word at the company, as doing anything outside office tasks is frowned upon since it's likely to elevate you in qualification above your current position. This is an issue since most of NG has such a high turn over rate, mostly due to not catering to the career development of it's employees and just treating them like a resource to slowly burn out.

Pros

Most of the people are really great to work with. Good pay, average 401k.

Cons

The current program that I work on is the most disorganized and mismanaged thing I’ve ever seen. People are quitting or finding new work within the company on a weekly basis. Management only cares about deadlines and will push people over the edge to meet them (mandatory overtime, 60 hour/6 day work week!!!). It takes forever to get program access and clearances. I can’t wait to find a new job. I’ve heard good things about other locations but, If you don’t already, DO NOT WORK HERE.
