Competitive salary Great Prof development Great exposure

Cons

Heavy work load. You have to work on weekend to finish all your work. Teaching and learning are no longer effective with the amount of workload assigned to you. You have to do a lot of documentation, take up external projects, a lot of display to be put up, have to take committee role(such as first aid, staff welfare) , need to do teacher’s roster, 8 domains of portfolios (anecdotal and checklist)

Pros

Culture is great. Everyone is nice and makes you feel like you are a part of a big family.

Cons

Management can be indecisive and directions can change all the time. Lacks staff recognition for their efforts though it doesnt apply to all departments. Career growth and opportunities are limited.

Stable career, exciting projects, focus on self growing which is a huge part.

Cons

Reduced WFH days, said it is to improve collaboration. Not convinced by it but who am I to comment?
